Software Developer – Enterprise SaaS (PHP & Python)

We at Softensity are looking for a Software Developer located in LATAM / Europe to join an Agile team working on a large enterprise SaaS platform. This role is focused on maintaining and improving a legacy system, resolving customer-reported issues, and ensuring platform stability, with opportunities for incremental enhancements.

What you’ll do

• Maintain and enhance legacy SaaS applications built primarily with bare-metal PHP
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues reported by customers
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs using PHP and Python
• Work with AWS-hosted applications and Docker-based environments
• Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and Engineering teams in Agile ceremonies

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience with PHP (including non-framework / core PHP)
• Backend experience with Python
• Experience building and maintaining REST APIs
• Background supporting enterprise, web-based applications
• Comfortable working in AWS and Docker environments
• Proactive, collaborative, and problem-solving mindset

Nice to have

• Some exposure to Symfony
• Familiarity with Java or event-driven architectures
