About the job

We are looking for someone to join Credix as a Senior Analytics Engineer. You will take ownership of structuring our data analytics platform and analytics use-cases. You love to tackle big problems and break them down into smaller pieces. You will build an analytics platform that features reliable, timely and understandable metrics in a slice-and-dice format to empower other teams to make better decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain dbt models and reliable datasets that power analytics, experiments, and decision-making across the company.
• Define and act upon standards for metrics, data modeling practices, and documentation.
• Oversee the full analytics lifecycle, from transforming raw to delivering insights in BI platforms (e.g. Hex).
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure analytics pipelines meet high standards of quality, observability and testing.
• Enable self-service analytics by creating semantic layers and reusable data assets that let teams create insights independently.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a related technical data role.
• Deep expertise with SQL and dbt, including modular modeling, documentation, and testing.
• Proven track record of building source-of-truth data models that support product use cases.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery), semantic layers (dbt), version control (Git), and visualization tools (Hex).
• Experience in a (credit) FinTech is a must.
• Manager of one : structuring, and executing upon the analytics roadmap.
• Analytical and system-oriented mindset with a strong problem-solving ability to handle complex data challenges.
• Proactive, clear and concise communication both in Portuguese and English, ensuring alignment with cross-functional teams.
• Anticipate business metrics needs and structure the analytics layer to ensure scalability and reusability across the entire company.
• High attention to detail and a perfectionist approach, especially in maintaining metrics quality and integrity.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment.
• Genuine interest / passion for disrupting the B2B credit market in Brazil by using data.
• Collaborative mindset, working effectively with diverse stakeholders.
