Job Description

Our Testers work with project teams to ensure software quality through systematic test planning, execution, and defect tracking, ensuring functionality, performance, and reliability of applications before deployment. With deep knowledge of various types of applications, databases, and operating systems, they maintain high standards of product excellence and user satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Selects appropriate testing approach
  • Develops and executes test plans and test cases.
  • Collaborates across parties involved in product, systems or service design and development to enable comprehensive test coverage.
  • Identifies improvements in requirements, design or specification processes to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of testing.
  • Analyses and reports on test activities, results, issues and risks, including the work of others
  • Proficient in Software Testing
  • Familiar with Test Management Techniques
  • Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions and training workshops to transfer expertise and best practices within the testing team and across the organization.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in software testing
  • Strong understanding of QA principles and hands-on expertise in manual testing methods and frameworks.
  • Experience in API testing using tools such as Bruno or Postman
  • Experience working with BDD using Gherkin, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Rally, Jira, TestRail)
  • Experience working with PostgreSQL using tools like pgAdmin, DBeaver, or psql
  • Comfortable using tools such as IntelliJ, FileZilla (SFTP), and Splunk for log analysis
  • Knowledge of cloud concepts and platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Familiarity with Red Hat environments and tooling
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (e.g., black-box, white-box, regression testing)
  • Exposure to defining Test Strategy, Test Plans, and Test Approaches
Desirable Skills
  • Experience or training in automated testing methods and frameworks
  • Familiarity with Java programming, JUnit and Spring
