Responsibilities

• Manage environmental, siting, planning, and permitting for energy projects
• Direct preparation of environmental documentation, including impact analyses and permit applications
• Oversee energy facility siting/routing, permitting, and environmental field surveys
• Represent clients before federal, state, and local regulatory agencies and planning commissions
• Coordinate and mentor junior staff while managing project budgets and forecasts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an environmental program (Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science) or related field; Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant environmental experience
• Ability to research and interpret federal, state, and local regulations for project permitting
• Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills (both oral and written)
• Valid driver's license in good standing and ability to pass the company DMV check

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with environmental, regulatory, and land use agencies, such as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service
• Proven track record of winning work within the energy market
• Established client relationships within the energy sector
• Experience in managing large complex energy projects
