Senior Node.js Software Engineer (Contract) – Remote (UK Time Zone) – €250 / day. Contract: 6+ months. Rate: €250 / day (B2B). Location: Fully remote, must work to UK time zone. Start: ASAP

We're hiring a Senior Node.js Software Engineer to join a greenfield, startup-style product team building a next-generation financial services platform. You'll be part of a fast-moving engineering squad operating like an independent startup within an established, well-funded organisation. What you'll be doing

• Designing, developing, testing, and deploying complex serverless and microservice-based applications.
• Creating clean, scalable Node.js / TypeScript solutions with an API-first mindset.
• Leading and contributing to technical design reviews.
• Owning high-quality delivery through unit / integration testing and CI / CD best practices.
• Working with AWS serverless tooling (Lambda, ECS, CDK, SAM, Serverless Framework).
• Troubleshooting application issues and optimising performance.
• Collaborating closely with other engineers, product, and delivery teams in an agile environment.

Tech you'll work with

• Node.js + TypeScript

• Jest (unit & integration testing)
