What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and mentor teams, including managing one or more Managers of Software Engineering
- Provide technical leadership in the design and development of new capabilities and innovations
- Oversee the quality of code and products throughout the development lifecycle
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and product managers to maintain a digital roadmap for applications
- Identify and implement new or improved policies and procedures across teams and departments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering, including at least 3 years in a management role
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Strong technical expertise in application architecture
- Proven experience in driving continuous improvement in performance and reliability of platforms
- Ability to coach and develop engineering managers and staff
