What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Provide field access support services and education to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) to maximize patient access to products
  • Build and maintain relationships with pharmacies, physicians, and HCPs to resolve coverage issues for prescriptions
  • Train HCPs on payer-specific coverage policies, documentation requirements, and financial assistance programs
  • Introduce technology options for electronic Patient Access submissions and support related coverage issues
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve patient access challenges
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • BS/BA degree in a related field AND 6+ years of pharma/biotech commercial experience, with 2+ years in specialty pharmacy/market access
  • Strong understanding of specialty pharmacies, managed care, and the impact on product access
  • Excellent knowledge of patient support programs and the prescription adjudication process
  • Ability to travel overnight up to 60%
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred AND 4+ years of related experience
  • PharmD or PhD AND 2+ years of related experience
  • Previous experience in sales, management, marketing, or managed markets within pharma/biotech
  • Understanding of current issues within the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare system
  • Developing reputation inside the company in the area of expertise
