Overview
You will support management of complex projects that bring together hybrid renewable energy, water, electrolyzers, derivatives synthesis facilities, ports, and delivery pipelines. You will collaborate with a team of internal subject matter experts and external consultants to solve problems and advance projects to Ready to Build stage. In addition, you will support the VP of Development with a variety of company level objectives. Lead the project development efforts for (currently three) large-scale PtX projects, in collaboration with external co-development partners.
Responsibilities
- Manage the co-development partners to ensure they are meeting performance objectives while also supporting them to advance the project through development milestones.
- Oversee multiple external consultant SMEs who support the project across a variety of specialties including but not limited to: environmental studies, permitting, public affairs, real estate legal, engineering studies, PtX technology, water engineering, and midstream transportation.
- Travel to project sites to meet with co-developers and key stakeholders as needed.
- Support green hydrogen and derivatives strategy through staying up to date on industry trends, markets, policy, and competitive landscape; research subjects and provide reports to bolster the teams knowledge base.
- Lead regular project update meetings with the extended ANGH team and co-development partners.
- Maintain project budgets, Gantt schedules, and KPI dashboards.
- Assist with project-level accounting and financials.
- Provide inputs into the techno-economic model used to support project economics and offtake.
- Support in discussions with potential partners or offtakers.
- Coordinate with GIS and engineering to assist in developing project layouts.
- Help with process improvement and protocol creation for the growing development organization.
Qualifications
- Entrepreneurial mindset and independent problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Clear-thinking and organizational approach, utilizing a Gantt chart to drive project strategy.
- Knowledge of the full project development lifecycle and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of green hydrogen, ammonia, or e-fuels is beneficial but not required.
Education
- Bachelors Degree required
- M.B.A. preferred
Experience
- Senior experience required, preferably in wind, solar, hydrogen, or molecules project development
