As a mobile developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining Android and iOS applications, each one in their native code base, which are, respectively, Kotlin and Swift. You will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and users. This position offers the flexibility of remote work with opportunities for collaboration in our modern office environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design and develop native Android/iOS applications using Kotlin/Swift, following best practices and coding standards.
- Implement user interfaces that are intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing.
- Integrate with back-end services and APIs to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and performance of the applications.
- Stay updated on the latest Android/iOS development trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Create and present solution plans to be approved by the tech lead of the project before implementing them.
- Create readable documentation for further use, in both technical and high-level point of view.
Requirements and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Solid understanding of mobile app design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and network communication.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge of the English language, written and spoken.
- Proven experience developing native Android/iOS applications and related tools.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Swift programming languages.
- Familiarity with Android Studio, Gradle, and the process of sending an app to the Google Play Store.
- Familiarity with Xcode, Apple developer tools and services.
- Simulator, Instruments, Swift Package Manager.
- App Store Management, App Store Connect, TestFlight.
- Familiarity with version control systems Git.
