Oracle Cloud Field Service Consultant
Contract Role – Remote
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Field Service (OFS) Consultant to support the design, configuration, optimization, and ongoing enhancement of our field service operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and customization of Oracle Field Service Cloud (OFS) to support business workflows, scheduling, routing, and mobile field operations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable functional and technical solutions.
- Configure OFS modules including capacity, activity management, work order orchestration, routing plans, and mobility experiences.
- Integrate OFS with other Oracle cloud applications, especially Oracle Service Cloud, Oracle CPQ, and external systems via REST / SOAP APIs.
- Perform solution testing, UAT support, documentation, and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring seamless field operations.
- Recommend best practices and continuous improvements in field service processes.
- Support deployment activities, including data migration, configuration promotion, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including service operations, IT, product management, and vendors.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5+ years of hands‑on experience implementing and supporting Oracle Field Service Cloud (OFS).
- Strong understanding of OFS architecture, configuration frameworks, APIs, message scenarios, routing, and capacity planning.
- Experience designing workflows, activity types, and policy configurations in OFS.
- Ability to write and interpret OFS API integrations, business rules, and extensibility scripts.
- Proven ability to gather requirements and convert them into actionable configuration.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid project delivery environments.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
Desired Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with Oracle Service Cloud (RightNow / OSvC) configuration, workflows, and integrations.
- Experience with Oracle CPQ (quoting workflows, commerce rules, integrations).
- Understanding of broader Oracle CX Cloud architecture and integrations.
- Experience with mobile workforce or field service applications outside Oracle.
- Knowledge of cloud integration tools (OIC, Boomi, MuleSoft, etc.).
