A global automotive leader is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in São Paulo to manage ocean and air shipments of imported parts. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Logistics or related fields, possess fluency in Portuguese and advanced English, and have experience in the automotive industry. Responsibilities include tracking shipments, managing provider relations, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.

Qualificações

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or similar.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and advanced in English.
  • Experience in the automotive industry, working with shipowners and freight forwarders.

Responsibilities

Responsible for coordinating ocean and air shipments of imported parts, ensuring smooth logístical flow, and proactively seeking solutions for unexpected situations.

  • Close tracking and control of the shipments ensuring that the flow is occurring as planned;
  • Identify risks, take appropriate actions, and elevate as necessary;
  • Be a solution provider, challenging the status quo and proactively proposing efficient solutions;
  • Maintain a direct interface and clear communication with logistics providers (ocean carriers, freight forwarders, trading partners) and key stakeholders at GM to ensure that business targets are met and exceeded.
  • This includes a focus on customer satisfaction, quality, responsiveness, employee engagement, and financial initiatives;
  • Ensure a thorough understanding of the contract terms and actively monitor and enforce performance expectations for all stakeholders involved in the supply chain;
  • Work as an influencer to create a more strategic environment, bringing new approaches and tools.
  • Promote GM values, taking and leading the team to decisions based on customer needs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or similar;
  • Fluent in Portuguese and advanced in English;
  • Spanish will be a plus;
  • Knowledge in data analysis tools and Logistics routine will be a plus;
  • Experience in the automotive industry, working with shipowners, freight forwarders and customs brokers;
  • Have strong interpersonal / communication skills, sense of urgency, ownership, analytical e problem-solving skills.
