Overview

We are looking for a motivated Mid-Level Java Developer to join a growing client-facing team within an expanding CI&T engagement. This role is part of a well-structured and highly collaborative team, directly managed by the client, working in a fully English-speaking environment.

Role level: Mid Level

Responsibilities

• You will contribute to the Loyalty Project, a fidelity and points-based system for a global, developing scalable and reliable solutions alongside a supportive, organized team known for strong partnership and positive feedback.
• Developing and implementing effective and scalable backend solutions, including designing, coding, testing, and maintaining existing systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and technical solutions.
• Design and implement well-designed and functional interfaces, guided by business analysts.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of learning.
• Engage in continuous learning opportunities within a highly collaborative team.

Technical Requirements

• Solid experience with Java development and Spring Framework / Spring Boot
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
• Experience with database design, including SQL and JPA/Hibernate
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles
• Experience with test automation, including unit and integration tests
• Experience with Kafka or other messaging/streaming platforms
• Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker and Kubernetes is a plus)
• Exposure to observability and monitoring tools
• Strong communication skills; English proficiency in listening and speaking is required
