About the Role:

Our client is seeking a skilled DAX Engineer to enhance and maintain their on-prem Microsoft Dynamics AX environment. This role bridges technical development and business operations, working closely with stakeholders across transportation and supply chain functions. The ideal candidate is a Microsoft Dynamics AX specialist with strong technical skills and the ability to translate business needs into practical, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, configure, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics AX (AX 2012) solutions to support business operations.

Work within an on-prem AX environment, ensuring stability, reliability, and performance.

Design and implement technical solutions using C# and .NET.

Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Support system integrations, customizations, upgrades, and performance optimizations.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application or system issues efficiently.

Document system designs, processes, and best practices to maintain operational clarity.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of AX systems and workflows.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (AX 2012).

Hands-on development experience using C# and .NET.

Background as a DAX / Microsoft Engineer, with strong understanding of enterprise systems.

Comfortable in a techno-functional role, engaging both technical and business stakeholders.

Experience supporting on-premise enterprise systems and ensuring operational stability.

Preferred Experience:

Previous exposure to transportation, logistics, or supply chain industries.

Experience with large-scale, enterprise ERP environments.

Understanding of operational workflows in supply chain or freight operations.
