As an Mainframe CICS System Programmer you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with a large financial client. There’s never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day‑to‑day solutions and security compliance. You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong knowledge of IBM CICS Transaction Server administration
• Experience with z/OS, JCL, and mainframe utilities
• Familiarity with DB2 integration, MQ, and other middleware components
• Proficiency in performance tuning, capacity planning, and troubleshooting
• Understanding of security frameworks (RACF or equivalent)
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills
• Advanced English (direct communication with global client)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Process driven management of technical operations and support
• Support for technical consultation and inquiries from the other IT technical teams
• Develop, document and maintain procedures for system utilities such as backup/restore, performance tuning and configuration of environments
