  • C.H. Robinson is looking for a Carrier Manager in São Paulo.
  • In this role, you will have a direct impact on strengthening our carrier network and ensuring seamless transportation solutions across multiple countries.

Your work will drive operational excellence and enhance customer satisfaction by building strong partnerships and optimizing carrier performance. As a Carrier Manager, you will manage relationships with carriers, negotiate rates, and oversee capacity planning to support diverse client needs.

You’ll leverage your expertise to deliver cost‑effective solutions while maintaining service quality and compliance.

Language Fluency

Work Arrangement
  • Engage with peers on‑site three days a week, igniting creativity and driving impactful results.
  • Remote work two days a week, striking a balance between teamwork and autonomy.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate to create performance improvement plans for carrier and track improvement to plan
  • Work to continuously improve carrier management processes
  • Manage carrier rates, lane bids and maintain master rate file
  • Responsible for rate and invoice exception management in conjunction with the internal customer account team
  • Publish and interpret carrier scorecards and service metrics
  • Work directly with customer on large RFP exercises
  • Act as carrier escalation point to assist with the resolution of any open issues
  • May participate in procurement projects including, but not limited to, data extraction, analysis, formatting, and presentation of rates and data related to pricing requests
  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and / or country specific requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Solid professional experience
  • Strong communication skills in Portuguese, English and Spanish
  • Professional experience in Procurement, carrier sales, transportation, logistics, and/or Supply Chain (Preferred)
  • Exceptional facilitation skills including but not limited to relationship management, presentation, documentation and accountability
  • Strong root‑cause and analytical skills
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with various levels within customer organization (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to identify, understand and execute based on market trends and pricing strategies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
