We are hiring a Business Analyst to support a fast-growing, design-led DTC jewelry eCommerce brand. This role is execution-focused and analytical, designed to give the founder clear, reliable visibility into performance across revenue, media spend, COGS, and customer value.
This role is not responsible for strategy creation or high-level ideation. Instead, you will own the preparation, organization, and accuracy of performance data so leadership can confidently analyze results and make decisions. Over time, as you build deeper business context, you may contribute more insight—but the core expectation is strong analytical execution from day one.
Pull, clean, and maintain performance data across revenue, media spend, and COGS
Prepare recurring media buying and eCommerce performance reports
Analyze product-, campaign-, and channel-level profitability
Identify winning, losing, and underperforming products or campaigns based on data
Support LTV, CAC, and cohort-based analysis using existing frameworks
Reconcile data across platforms to ensure consistency and accuracy
Build clear, founder-friendly reports and summaries for review
Support quarterly and annual performance reviews with structured data
Flag inconsistencies, gaps, or anomalies in data proactively
Work closely with the founder to support analysis and direction resets
Triple Whale (or similar attribution platform)
Paid media platforms (Meta Ads, Google Ads) for reporting purposes
Google Sheets or Excel (advanced proficiency required)
Analytics tools (GA4 or similar)
ECommerce platforms and data sources (Shopify or similar)
Slack, Google Workspace, and cloud-based collaboration tools
3–5 years of freelancing experience.
Excellent written and verbal English communication (C1 or C2 level).
4–7+ years of experience in business analysis, performance analytics, or eCommerce reporting
Experience supporting DTC or eCommerce brands
Strong understanding of revenue, media spend, COGS, LTV, and CAC
Proven ability to prepare accurate, repeatable reports
Comfortable executing detailed, sometimes tedious, analytical work
Excellent written and verbal English communication (C1 or C2 level)
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
Comfortable working directly with a founder in a lean environment
Able to operate independently with clear direction and minimal hand-holding
Monday to Friday, with some overlap with US business hours, preferred
