Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve delivery issues across environments, including pipeline failures and data inconsistencies.
- Maintain and evolve schema-driven YAML / JSON configurations for distribution and exhibition platforms.
- Support operational workflows by updating internal Python automation scripts.
- Perform database-level investigations to validate data integrity and confirm fixes.
- Work through PR-based change management with clear documentation and regression verification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery operations.
- Apply observability and log analysis techniques to trace failures and extract actionable insights.
- Ensure compliance with schema validation and maintain configuration hygiene.
Mandatory Knowledge
- YAML / JSON (production-grade) : Safe authoring / refactoring, strict structure, and change hygiene.
- Git + PR workflow : Clean diffs, review discipline, conflict handling, and controlled promotions.
- Observability & log analysis : Tracing failures across pipeline stages, correlating identifiers, and extracting actionable signals from logs / metrics.
- Schema / validation mindset : Interpreting schema / tooling errors and keeping configs compliant.
- Python : Debugging and adjusting existing scripts / automation; implementing targeted fixes safely.
- Databases (SQL) : Querying to investigate production issues, validate data integrity, and confirm outcomes.
- Production support fundamentals : Incident triage, root-cause analysis, mitigations, and regression verification.
- Jinja templating : Understanding template-driven generation and making safe, minimal changes.
Optional Knowledge
- Media Supply Chain fundamentals : Deliverables, packaging concepts, metadata hierarchies, locale conventions, and downstream dependency impacts.
- Advanced mapping / config patterns (conditional / switch / lookup / padding; robust globals / locals usage).
- CI / automation improvements (linting / formatting, pre-validation checks, regression harnesses).
- Partner operations context (common rejection patterns, partner-specific exceptions, operational playbooks).
- Communication in incident / PR contexts (concise updates, change summaries, and requirement translation).
Preferred Experience
- Strong understanding of schema-driven configuration management and automation workflows.
