A leading financial services firm in São Paulo is seeking a product controller to support the Americas GIB function. This role involves ensuring the integrity of financial statements and governance of transaction controls across Mergers & Acquisitions, Debt and Equity Capital Markets. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting experience, analytical skills, and be fluent in both English and Portuguese. Finance & Business Management's goals are to ensure sound control environments and provide financial advice to support the business strategy. Within F&BM, the Controllers organization is responsible for ensuring the overall integrity and validity of the financial statements and controls over the transaction cycle; performing critical reporting functions for the organization, both financial and regulatory, as well as ensuring execution and implementation of the overall financial architecture.
This role supports the Americas GIB function covering Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Equity Capital Markets (ECM), and the Americas Client Billing function. As a product controller, you will contribute to the integrity and accuracy of the financial statements and support the governance of the transaction control cycle.
This position offers a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual to develop a strong understanding of GIB products and become a valued partner to various Finance Teams, while building relationships with business leaders as well as Corporate and CIB Central Finance Teams.
