Compensation & Growth

At WorkBetterNow we reward commitment and support long‑term success. Payroll grades change annually with experience and tenure. Salaries will be updated in January for the following structure:

  • 0–3 months: $1,200 USD / month
  • After 3 months: $1,250 USD / month (includes $50 wellness bonus)
  • After 1 year: $1,340 USD / month
  • After 2 years: $1,480 USD / month
  • After 3 years: $1,540 USD / month
  • After 4 years: $1,600 USD / month

Annual adjustments and company‑wide raises will continue to grow together.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will perform accounting and administrative duties, supporting the department by processing invoices, transactions, and expenses, and updating our accounting database.

  • Salary starts at $1 per month.
  • Liaise with contractors for invoices and timeline updates
  • Process receipts for client claims
  • Create a general ledger and reconcile entries into accounting systems
  • Maintain subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
  • Prepare financial reports
  • Assist in developing systems and processes for financial transactions
  • Help clients with federal, state, and local reporting requirements
  • Reconcile all AP and AR items
  • Review and verify financial statements
  • Create and format monthly invoices
  • Assist with administrative HR tasks, including onboarding / terminations and managing employee files
  • Support accounting by recording and reconciling basic transactions
Requirements
  • 2 years of accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (desired)
  • Accounting or financial background
  • Ability to create documents and reports
  • Extremely organized and detail‑oriented
  • Comfortable dealing with numbers and processing financial information
  • Critical thinker with a growth mindset
  • Strong organizational and resolution skills
  • Experience with Microsoft 365
  • Experience with QuickBooks or Peachtree
  • Experience with any ERP system
