Job summary

PaymentGenes in Ghent, Belgium is seeking an Account Executive to drive growth with mid-market to enterprise clients. You will translate complex payments challenges into tangible solutions and manage strategic relationships across the sales cycle.

The role blends business development, account management and cross-functional collaboration, with hybrid work and a modern workspace. Dutch and English fluency are required; French/German is a plus.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of proven B2B sales experience in SaaS or fintech.
Experience selling to mid-market and large organisations.
Strong network with Belgian and international decision-makers.
Fluent Dutch and professional English; French/German a plus.
Commercial maturity, curiosity and drive to own deals end-to-end.

Responsibilities

Drive business development with warm leads and SDR support.
Manage accounts, engage stakeholders and grow long-term partnerships.
Position payments tech solutions as the answer to cashflow challenges.
Lead end-to-end sales including demos, proposals and negotiations.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, CS, Sales and Marketing.
Identify market trends and translate them into growth opportunities.
