A leading legal firm in Australia is seeking experienced Lawyers across all levels to join their respected Insurance Statutory Classes practice group. The ideal candidates will work on a variety of matters related to Work Injury Damages and statutory issues. Candidates must possess strong drafting and analytical skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Exceptional career pathways and mentorship opportunities are offered, making this an excellent opportunity for personal and professional growth.
HWLE is not your typical law firm. Our rapid rise to become the largest legal partnership in Australia shows that in our case, the differences are real. We deliver first class legal advice to our government and commercial clients in every state and territory across Australia. Firm wide, we have over 270 Partners and 1700 people.
We have an opportunity for experienced Lawyers across all levels (Solicitor, Associate or Senior Associate) to join our highly regarded Sydney Insurance Statutory Classes practice group. Led by Partners, Mersina Kikinis and Ron Galea, you will be a part of a sub-team of 7 lawyers. We act for clients (insurers and government bodies) on a diverse range of matters covering both Work Injury Damages and Statutory matters - giving our lawyers a unique exposure to a broad mix of work.
You will work directly with and be mentored by Partners and senior lawyers in a genuinely open-door environment where collaboration is encouraged.
To apply, please submit your CV via the ’Apply’ function. Applicants must have full working rights in Australia and a valid practising certificate to apply. HWLE also strongly encourages applications from the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community.
HWLE strives to create an inclusive environment where our people want and feel comfortable to bring their entire selves to work. Varied perspectives contribute to our collective success so whatever your background, we would love to hear from you and encourage you to apply. If you have reasonable accessibility requirements that will enable you to participate equitably in our recruitment process, please reach out to Gianni Sgualdino for a confidential discussion.
