A Victorian Government Department seeks a Clinical Governance Advisor in Melbourne. This full-time role involves providing expert policy advice on SRS services, coordinating stakeholder feedback, and improving compliance monitoring. Candidates must have experience in policy development and clinical service delivery, especially for young individuals. Ongoing, full-time position based in Melbourne. VPS Grade 5.1 role: $113,022 – $124,884 per year plus superannuation.
Provide authoritative advice to the Senior Manager, Clinical Governance and Service Improvement on the development and implementation of SRS services, policy and strategies.
Coordinate feedback from subject matter experts, community and custody stakeholders to develop clinical governance frameworks, including updating or developing clinical governance documentation as directed.
Support compliance monitoring and reporting to ensure SRS are delivered to the required standard and provide creative solutions or options that meet changing demands for services and maintain integrity and responsivity of assessments and interventions.
Actively plan, consult and advise with internal and external subject matter experts on reviews of offence-specific and offence-related service delivery for young people across the Youth Justice system.
Maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to identify areas and opportunities for improvements and gain support for the design and implementation of updates to programs, policies and procedures.
Manage and deliver time limited projects relating to specific policy or program issues related to SRS.
Ensure programs and services are integrated with other service delivery requirements, are responsive to specific groups, and are tailored to the complexity of their environments.
Support ongoing clinical services and quality improvements around programs and SRS to ensure ongoing alignment with service standards and evidence based best practice.
