The Role

We are looking for Personal Care Worker (PCW) to join our team in East region. Our Personal Care Workers (PCW) in Community, Health and Care provide one-on-one care to help older Victorians live comfortably in their own homes. They help clients stay connected and feel supported by assisting with daily activities, personal care, and community engagement.

  • Assist clients with daily activities according to their needs and choices
  • Work with clients one-on-one within their home to live their best lives and maintain relationships
  • Assist clients with personal care or domestic duties in their homes
  • Assist clients to keep connected to their communities through activities they love

About you
  • Completed or currently studying a Cert III or higher in Individual Support or a related qualification. If you have completed the first year of your nursing studies, and have completed your placements, you will be a qualified Care Worker.
  • A genuine passion for caring and ability to build rapport with clients
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Respect for all, regardless of background, gender, age, religion, race, or sexual orientation
  • Your own vehicle, current drivers' licence, and car insurance, to drive between clients' homes and drive clients as required
  • Willingness to travel between clients around; Templestowe, Heidelberg, Rosanna, Doncaster, Ringwood, Blackburn, Burwood, Camberwell, Hawthorn, Kew: sometimes up to 4 clients per day, and up to 30 minutes between clients.
