Zusammenfassung

Axiom Technologies is seeking a capable Desktop Support Specialist to coordinate activities ranging from simple tasks to complex plans. This role will provide on-site/on-call assistance to end-users within the organization’s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.

You will handle 1st/2nd level support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices, respond to requests via ticketing system, and install OS/software.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in a desktop support, helpdesk, or IT technician role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, and basic networking concepts.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems like ServiceNow, Zendesk, or JIRA.
• Experience in Bitlocker, BSOD, OS installation, End User Support, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Aufgaben

• Set up and configure new employee workstations, including user accounts and permissions.
• Maintain asset inventory and ensure accurate documentation of IT equipment.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding of employees from a technical perspective.
• Support remote users with VPN, remote desktop, and connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with other IT teams on escalated issues or project-related tasks.
• Follow security protocols and assist with antivirus, patching, and data protection policies.
