Axiom Technologies in Austria’s Burgenland is seeking a capable IT support specialist to provide onsite/on-call desktop support across desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices. You will install and maintain operating systems (Windows/macOS/Linux), respond to incidents via ticketing systems, and help onboard new staff while ensuring security and asset documentation.

German language proficiency is required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on desktop support, helpdesk, or IT technician experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, and basic networking.
• Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Zendesk, JIRA).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• German language proficiency required.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Aufgaben

• Provide first- and second-level desktop, laptop, printer, and mobile device support.
• Respond to service requests and incidents via ticketing system, phone, or in person.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain Windows/macOS/Linux OS and software.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
• Set up and configure new employee workstations and user accounts.
• Maintain asset inventory and documentation of IT equipment.
• Assist onboarding/offboarding from a technical perspective.
• Support remote users with VPN, remote desktop, and connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with IT teams on escalated issues or project tasks.
• Follow security protocols and assist with antivirus, patching, and data protection policies.
