Job summary

Iron Systems, Inc is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide onsite and remote support for end users across locations in Austria. You will deliver PC, VDI host, and mobile device support, troubleshoot printing and scanning, and manage hardware/software incidents.

You will assist with new technology rollouts, support VIP and meeting-room tech, and help manage IT assets and equipment loans. Strong English and German language communication is required.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Windows 10/11 administration.
• Strong troubleshooting of MS Office/O365/IE and other OS issues.
• Hardware troubleshooting for PCs and peripherals including print/scan devices.
• Experience with MS Office upgrades/deployments.
• Working knowledge of Dell laptops/desktops hardware issues.
• Troubleshooting Office-related issues.
• VPN troubleshooting experience.
• Mobile Device Management support.
• Experience with Windows Imaging using Autopilot/Intune.
• Data Migration tools and OneDrive knowledge.
• Basic network and server administration knowledge.
• Good communication skills in English and native language.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote end-user support across locations.
• Deliver PC, VDI host, and mobile device support per service requirements.
• Support printing and scanning devices; troubleshoot issues.
• Manage break-fix for hardware and software incidents.
• Perform IMAC for PCs, laptops, and peripherals.
• Support desktop applications and local installs when remote deployment fails.
• Assist in new technology implementations; setup, configure, train users.
• Support VIP users and meeting-room tech.
• Assist in IT asset management and inventory control.
• Coordinate loan and tracking of IT equipment.
• Support business events and workplace technology needs.
• Provide hands-on support for network/server teams under SME guidance.
• Install and troubleshoot wiring, cables, connectivity.
• Document service activities and close tickets with updates and sign-offs.
• Share IT best practices to raise user awareness.
• Maintain, upgrade, and replace hardware/software as required.
