Job summary

Iron Systems, Inc. in Linz, Austria seeks an IT Support Specialist to provide onsite and remote end-user assistance. You will manage PC, VDI host, and mobile device support, printer/scanner issues, and hardware break-fix activities, while assisting with new tech deployments and user training.

The role requires strong Windows 10/11 administration skills, MS Office expertise, and familiarity with Dell hardware, VPN, and MDM. Fluency in English and German is preferred.

Qualifications

• Expertise on Windows 10/11 administration.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for MS Office, O365, and OS-related issues.
• Knowledge of PC and peripheral hardware troubleshooting (printers & scanners).
• Experience with MS Office upgrades/deployments.
• Working knowledge of Dell laptops/desktops hardware issues.
• VPN troubleshooting and Mobile Device Management experience.
• Experience with Windows Imaging (Autopilot, Intune, customization).
• Experience with Data Migration tools and O365 OneDrive.
• Knowledge of OneDrive basics.
• Good communication skills in English and German.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote support to end users across assigned locations.
• Deliver PC, VDI Host and Mobile Device Support as per service requirements.
• Provide Printing Service Support and troubleshoot print/scan device issues.
• Manage break-fix activities for hardware and software incidents.
• Perform device swaps and IMAC activities for PCs, laptops, and peripherals.
• Support desktop applications and local software installations when remote deployment fails.
• Facilitate new technology implementations, including device setup and user training.
• Support VIP users and dedicated meeting-room technology support.
• Assist in IT asset management, inventory control, and asset return processes.
• Coordinate loaning and tracking of IT equipment and accessories.
• Support business events and end-user workplace technology needs.
• Provide hands-on support for network and server teams under SME/SOP guidance.
• Install, inspect, test, and troubleshoot wiring, cables, and connectivity issues.
• Document service activities, maintain records, and complete admin tasks for tickets.
• Ensure timely acceptance, execution, and closure of service requests with status updates.
