Job summary

Atomic Hr is seeking a Technical SEO Lead for a fully remote position serving a U.S.-based higher education marketing agency. You will own technical SEO across client accounts, run audits, and write developer-ready specifications to improve visibility and performance.

You'll also design Claude-based tools and workflows to automate audits, QA, reporting, and content production, enabling the team to focus on strategy and execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO with 3+ years in technical SEO or agency/multi-site experience.
• Proven track record of identifying high-impact issues and driving fixes.
• Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs/Semrush.
• Strong ability to spec fixes for developers and client teams, with clear written communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts and run audits (crawlability, indexation, architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, broken links).
• Prioritize issues by impact and defend decisions.
• Write developer-ready specs and ensure fixes are implemented and verified.
