Job summary

Atomic Hr is seeking a Technical SEO Lead for a fully remote role serving U.S.-based higher education marketing accounts. You will lead technical SEO across client sites, run comprehensive audits, and develop Claude-based tools to automate audits, reporting, and QA.

You’ll collaborate with the SEO Lead and Executive Director of SEO while guiding developers and client teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in SEO with strong technical focus, hands-on WordPress knowledge, and experience building

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO with focus on technical SEO.
• Proven ability to lead cross-account technical SEO efforts.
• Strong WordPress and schema knowledge.
• Experience with Claude AI workflows.
• Excellent written communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to design scalable SEO systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts.
• Perform audits: crawlability, indexation, site architecture.
• Write developer-friendly specs and drive fixes.
• Manage WordPress titles, meta descriptions, redirects, and schema.
• Monitor GSC and GA4 for drops and indexing issues.
• Build Claude-based tools and workflows for audits.
• Document systems and train the team.
• Support client success and explain complex topics on calls.
