Job summary

Atomic Hr is seeking a Technical SEO Lead for a fully remote role serving US-based higher education marketing accounts. You will own technical SEO audits, develop dev-ready specs, and implement fixes while building Claude-based tools to automate audits, reporting, and QA.

You will work with the SEO Lead and Executive Director of SEO, ensuring scalable systems and proactive issue resolution across multiple client sites. Strong Claude experience and WordPress familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO, with at least 3 focused on technical SEO.
• Hands-on Claude experience building AI-assisted workflows.
• Clear written communication and ability to write actionable specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts.
• Run technical audits: crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, broken links.
• Write dev-ready specs and follow through to fixes.
• Handle WordPress tasks: titles, meta descriptions, redirects, schema via Yoast/Rank Math.
• Monitor Search Console and GA4 for drops and indexing issues.
• Build Claude-based tools and workflows for audits, reporting, QA.
• Design scalable systems for the SEO service and team training.
