Job summary

Atomic Hr is seeking a Technical SEO Lead to manage a portfolio of higher‑education accounts from a remote setting. You’ll drive technical audits, write developer specs, and own readiness for AI search with Claude.

You’ll collaborate with the SEO Lead and support the Executive Director of SEO while building scalable workflows and tools that improve audit, reporting, and QA efficiency for multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO, with at least 3 focused on technical SEO.
• Deep hands‑on with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Strong working knowledge of WordPress: themes, plugins, redirects, and schema.
• Advanced hands‑on experience with Claude, including building agents and AI-assisted workflows.
• Clear written communication and ability to spec fixes for developers.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts.
• Run technical audits: crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, broken links.
• Prioritize issues by impact and defend calls.
• Write dev-ready specs and follow through to fixes.
• Monitor GSC and GA4 to catch drops and indexing problems.
• Own technical readiness for AI search (AEO/GEO) and LLM-driven content structure.
• Build systems that scale the SEO service and Claude-based tools for audits, reporting, and QA.
• Document systems and train the team; measure time saved and results improved.
