Job summary

Atomic Hr is seeking a Technical SEO Lead for a fully remote role serving a U.S.-based higher education marketing agency. You will own technical SEO across multiple client accounts, run audits, write developer-ready specs, and build Claude-based tools to streamline audits and reporting.

You bring 5+ years in SEO with strong technical focus, hands-on experience with SEO tech stack, and a track record of delivering impactful fixes across WordPress sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO with at least 3 focused on technical SEO
• Track record of uncovering high-impact site issues and fixing them
• Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs or Semrush
• Strong WordPress knowledge to spec fixes and domain issues

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts
• Run technical audits covering crawlability, indexation, architecture and CWV
• Prioritize issues by impact and defend calls
• Write dev-ready specs and follow fixes through to verification
• Build Claude-based tools and workflows for audits, reporting and QA
• Design scalable systems for the SEO service
• Join client calls to explain deep technical topics
