Job summary

Atomic HR is seeking a Technical SEO Lead to own the technical optimization for a portfolio of higher-education clients. This role focuses on crawlability, schema, Core Web Vitals, and AI-ready content strategies, with hands-on WordPress capability.

You will design developer-ready specs, partner with the SEO team, and build Claude-based tools to streamline audits, reporting, and QA. Fully remote with compensation based on experience and a path to impact across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO, with at least 3 focused on technical SEO.
• Hands-on experience with Claude AI workflows and agents.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts with measurable impact.
• Run audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals and redirects.
• Write developer-ready specs and follow through to fixes.
• Manage light WordPress tasks: titles, meta descriptions, redirects, and schema.
• Monitor Search Console and GA4 to catch issues early and protect rankings.
• Develop AI-driven workflows for audits, reporting, and QA.
• Build scalable SEO systems and Claude-based tools for efficiency.
• Support client success and join calls for deep technical discussions.
• Evaluate emerging search technologies and tools.
