Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a highly technical Tier 2/3 Technical Support Engineer for our AI vision platform running on Kubernetes, supporting enterprise customers globally. This fully remote role requires working U.S.

East Coast hours and LATAM-based candidates. You will troubleshoot Kubernetes deployments, infrastructure, networking, and configuration issues, reproduce customer environments, and collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to drive issues to resolution.

Qualifications

2+ years in Tier 2/Tier 3 technical support.
Hands-on Kubernetes experience in production.
English communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to investigate complex technical issues and collaborate with engineering.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to enterprise customers.
Troubleshoot Kubernetes-based deployments, software, infrastructure, networking, and configuration issues.
Reproduce customer environments and run tests to diagnose problems.
Work with customers during technical discussions and troubleshooting sessions.
Manage and resolve support tickets.
Collaborate with Engineering, Sales and Customer Success.
Escalate complex issues and product bugs to Engineering.
Communicate findings, workarounds, and resolutions clearly to customers.
