Convoy Finance is seeking an Accounting Manager to own client accounting work for a portfolio of growing companies. You will collaborate with international clients, founders and senior finance professionals to ensure accurate accounting, timely deliverables and insightful financial guidance.

This hands-on leadership role combines close accounting work with coaching juniors, overseeing month-end close, and driving process improvements while navigating varied client needs and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, including full-cycle accounting.
• Significant client-facing accounting, public accounting, audit or advisory experience.
• Big Four experience is required for this role.
• Proficiency in English and ability to work with clients across time zones.

Responsabilités

• Managing a portfolio of client accounts with accurate, timely delivery.
• Leading full-cycle accounting and month-end close, including reconciliations.
• Reviewing work for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Preparing financial statements, management reports, and analysis.
• Collaborating with founders, CFOs and senior finance teams to provide guidance.
• Guiding priorities, coaching junior team members, and handling complex issues.
• Supporting year-end compilations, audits, reviews and tax work.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and controls.
• Building long-term relationships and serving as a trusted client contact.
• Working across Eastern Time overlap when needed.
