Job summary

Convoy Finance is seeking an Accounting Manager to own client accounting across a portfolio of growing companies. You will work directly with international clients, founders, CFOs and senior finance professionals to ensure accurate accounting and timely deliverables.

This hands‑on role also involves guiding the team, identifying process improvements and growing advisory capabilities. You will review work, manage priorities, and contribute to complex accounting questions while staying close to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Full‑cycle accounting, month‑end close and financial reporting.
• Big Four experience is required.
• Experience reviewing or mentoring other accountants.
• English communication; role is 100% in English.
• Partial overlap with Eastern Time; availability 9am–6pm ET is a plus.
• Experience with SaaS, technology, fintech or Web3 companies.
• CPA designation or active CPA pursuit is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of client accounts with accurate and timely accounting and reporting.
• Lead full‑cycle accounting and month‑end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Review accounting work to ensure quality and consistency across client deliverables.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports and analyses.
• Collaborate with founders, CFOs and senior finance teams to address questions and guidance.
• Manage client deadlines and priorities, communicating when attention is needed.
• Support year‑end compilations, audits and tax work; identify process improvements.
• Coach junior accountants and mentor the team; handle complex accounting issues.
