Job summary

Convoy Finance is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee client accounting for growing tech and SaaS companies. This hands-on role focuses on accurate accounting, month-end close, and delivering timely client deliverables, with an emphasis on understanding business context and proactively solving issues.

You will work with international clients and senior finance professionals, in a 100% English environment, remotely from Argentina.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in full-cycle accounting, month-end close and financial reporting.
• Big Four experience preferred for high standards and client environments.
• English communication with clients is essential.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring accurate and timely accounting and reporting.
• Lead and oversee full-cycle accounting and month-end close including reconciliations.
• Review work for quality and consistency across client deliverables.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports and analyses.
• Work with founders, CFOs, and senior finance to answer questions and provide guidance.
• Manage deadlines and communicate proactively when issues arise.
• Support year-end compilations, audits, reviews and tax work.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems and controls.
• Coach junior accounting staff and handle complex issues.
• Support advisory and finance projects as they arise.
• Build strong client relationships as trusted accounting partner.
