Job summary

Convoy Finance is a small finance and accounting firm serving technology, SaaS, fintech, and Web3 clients. We are seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee accounting for a portfolio of growing companies and work directly with international clients, founders, CFOs and senior finance professionals.

This hands-on role requires ownership of full-cycle accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting, while guiding junior staff. The position is remote from Argentina and conducted in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and 5+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting.
• Big Four experience required; able to work in a high-standard client environment.
• Experience with full-cycle accounting, month-end close and financial reporting.
• English proficiency; role is 100% in English.
• Experience mentoring or reviewing other accountants.
• Partial overlap with Eastern Time hours; availability 9am-6pm ET is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts with timely accounting and reporting.
• Lead full-cycle accounting and month-end close including reconciliations and journals.
• Review work for quality and consistency across client deliverables.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and analyses.
• Collaborate with founders, CFOs, and senior finance teams to provide guidance.
• Manage deadlines, priorities, and proactive client communication.
• Support year-end compilations, audits, and tax-related work.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.
• Coach junior team members and handle complex accounting issues.
• Support advisory and finance projects.
• Build strong client relationships as trusted accounting contact.
