Convoy Finance is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee client accounting across a growing portfolio and work directly with international clients.

You'll lead full‑cycle accounting, month‑end close, and financial reporting, while mentoring junior staff and partnering with clients to improve processes. This 100% English role is remote and client‑facing, with opportunities to grow into advisory leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience including full‑cycle accounting, month‑end close and financial reporting
• Big Four experience is required; exposure to high standards of quality, complex accounting work and demanding client environments

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a portfolio of client accounts and ensure accurate, timely delivery of accounting and reporting work
• Lead and oversee full‑cycle accounting and month‑end close, including reconciliations, journal entries, AP/AR and financial statement preparation
• Review accounting work for quality and consistency across client deliverables
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports and financial analysis
• Work directly with founders, CFOs and senior finance teams to answer questions and provide accounting guidance
• Manage client deadlines, priorities and deliverables and communicate when attention is needed
• Support year‑end compilations, audits, reviews and tax‑related work
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems and controls
• Coach and support junior team members and handle complex accounting issues
• Support advisory and finance projects as they arise
• Build strong client relationships and become a trusted accounting partner
