Job summary

Convoy Finance is seeking an Accounting Manager for a remote, full‑time role focused on client accounting and advisory services for technology, SaaS, fintech and Web3 clients. You will oversee accounting work across a portfolio of international clients, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery while guiding a team.

You will engage with founders and senior finance professionals, drive process improvements, and contribute to advisory and financial management initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field required.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, including full‑cycle accounting, month‑end close and financial reporting.
• Big Four experience is required and highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a portfolio of client accounts and ensure timely, accurate accounting and reporting.
• Lead and oversee full‑cycle accounting and month‑end close, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Review accounting work to ensure quality, accuracy and consistency across client deliverables.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports and financial analysis.
• Collaborate with founders, CFOs and senior finance professionals to address questions and provide guidance.
• Manage deadlines and priorities, communicating proactively when attention is needed.
• Support year-end compilations, audits, reviews and tax work.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems and controls.
• Coach junior accounting team members and guide complex accounting issues.
