Job summary

Convoy Finance, a small finance and accounting firm, seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee client accounting across growing companies and work directly with international clients, founders, CFOs and senior finance professionals.

You’ll ensure accurate accounting, timely deliverables, and proactive business insights. The role is hands-on with mentorship, cross-functional collaboration, and potential growth into broader advisory and leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience in full-cycle accounting, month-end close and financial reporting
• Significant client-facing accounting, public accounting, audit or advisory experience
• Big Four experience is preferred and beneficial

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a portfolio of client accounts and ensure accurate, timely accounting and reporting
• Lead and oversee full-cycle accounting and month-end close processes
• Review work for quality and consistency across client deliverables
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports and financial analysis
• Collaborate with founders, CFOs and senior finance professionals to provide accounting guidance
• Support year-end compilations, audits, reviews and tax-related work
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems and controls
• Coach and support junior accounting team members
• Take ownership of complex accounting issues and advisory projects
• Build strong relationships with clients as a trusted contact for accounting needs
