Job summary

Convoy Finance is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee client accounting across a portfolio of growing tech and SaaS companies. The role is 100% in English and remote, serving international clients with ownership over month‑end closes, financial reporting and advisory support.

You will mentor junior staff, review work for accuracy, and help clients navigate complex accounting questions. A Big Four background and CPA are highly valued for this ownership‑driven position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience in full‑cycle accounting, month‑end close and financial reporting.
• Big Four experience is required.
• Experience in client‑facing accounting, public accounting, audit or advisory.
• English proficiency; 100% English role.
• CPA designation or in pursuit is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and oversee accounting work across a portfolio of growing companies.
• Lead full‑cycle accounting and month‑end close, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Review accounting work for quality and consistency across client deliverables.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports and analysis.
• Work with founders, CFOs and senior finance leaders to resolve issues.
• Manage deadlines and priorities, proactively flag issues.
• Support year‑end compilations, audits, and tax work.
• Identify improvements to accounting processes and controls.
• Coach junior accounting staff and handle complex issues.
• Support advisory and finance projects for clients.
