Job summary

Convoy Finance is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee a portfolio of growing companies, interacting with international clients, founders and senior finance professionals. You will ensure accurate accounting, on-time deliverables, and provide strategic insights beyond the numbers.

The role emphasizes ownership, mentoring junior staff, and collaboration with clients to navigate complex accounting and finance questions, all within a remote, English-only setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience with full-cycle accounting and financial reporting.
• Big Four experience is preferred and strong client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts ensuring timely accounting and reporting.
• Lead full-cycle accounting and month-end close, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Review work for quality, accuracy and consistency across client deliverables.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports and financial analysis.
• Collaborate with founders, CFOs and senior finance teams to resolve issues and provide guidance.
• Coach and support junior accounting team members and manage priorities.
