Job summary

Convoy Finance is seeking an Accounting Manager to own client accounting across a portfolio of growing companies, working directly with international clients, founders, CFOs and senior finance professionals. You will ensure accurate accounting, timely deliverables, and proactive problem solving while guiding juniors and managing complex inquiries.

You will lead month-end close, financial reporting and advisory projects, collaborating with clients to optimize processes and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Big Four experience required; high standards in complex accounting and client environments.
• Proven ability to own full-cycle accounting, month-end close and financial reporting.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English; role is 100% in English.
• Experience with clients, founders, CFOs and senior finance professionals.

Responsibilities

• Own portfolio of client accounts with timely accounting and reporting.
• Lead full-cycle accounting and month-end close, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Review work for quality, accuracy, and consistency across client deliverables.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports and financial analysis.
• Collaborate with founders, CFOs and senior finance teams to resolve issues and provide guidance.
• Manage client deadlines, priorities and proactive communications.
