Job summary

Convoy Finance is seeking an Accounting Manager to own client accounting across a growing portfolio, supervise full-cycle close, and deliver accurate financial statements while guiding junior staff.

This remote role requires 5+ years of accounting, Big Four experience, English fluency, and comfort advising SaaS/fintech clients from Argentina. You will partner with founders and CFOs to identify issues early and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Big Four experience required.
• Own full-cycle accounting, month-end close and financial reporting.
• Experience with client-facing accounting, public accounting, audit or advisory.
• English communication; role is 100% in English.
• Mentor junior accountants and ensure quality of work.
• Partial overlap with Eastern Time; 9am–6pm ET a plus.
• Experience with SaaS/fintech/Web3 clients; CPA pursued a plus.
• CPA designation or active pursuit a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts with timely accounting and reporting.
• Lead full-cycle accounting and month-end close with reconciliations and journal entries.
• Review work for quality and consistency across client deliverables.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports and analysis.
• Collaborate with founders, CFOs and senior finance teams to answer questions.
• Manage client deadlines and proactive communication.
• Support year-end compilations, audits, reviews and tax-related work.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and controls.
• Coach and support junior accounting staff.
• Take ownership of complex accounting issues.
• Support advisory and finance projects.
• Build strong relationships with clients as trusted contact.
