Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join the regional SAM team. You will manage software licensing across a large portfolio, collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance and engineering teams, and support compliance, renewals and optimization efforts.

The role requires hands-on SAM experience, strong licensing knowledge, and the ability to operate in a high-volume, multi-publisher environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Software Asset Management or IT Asset Management.
• Strong understanding of software licensing models and entitlements.
• Experience managing licenses across multiple publishers and renewals.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across publishers.
• Maintain software asset and entitlement records with purchasing/licensing info.
• Coordinate renewals, reallocations and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting; identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering and vendors to resolve licensing needs.
• Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment and drive SAM process improvements.
