Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join its global SAM team, focusing on LATAM and international regions. You will oversee licensing across a large software portfolio, coordinate with IT, Procurement, Finance, and Engineering to ensure compliance and optimize utilization in a high-volume environment.

The role requires hands-on SAM experience, knowledge of licensing models (node-locked, concurrent, named-user, cloud), and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience in Software Asset Management, licensing, or ITAM with SAM responsibilities.
Strong understanding of licensing models: node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS.
Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers and licensing conditions.
Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization, and/or audits.
Ability to manage high volumes and prioritize time-sensitive requirements.

Responsibilities

Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle with accuracy and timeliness.
Interpret licensing terms and entitlements across multiple publishers and models.
Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records including purchasing information.
Coordinate renewals, reallocations, and optimization activities.
Support license compliance, audits, and reporting; identify optimization opportunities.
Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering and vendors to resolve licensing needs and escalations.
Handle competing priorities in a high-volume environment while improving SAM processes.
