Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join our global SAM team, overseeing licensing decisions and a large software portfolio across Latin America and other regions. You will ensure compliance, optimize costs and collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance and Engineering.

The role requires deep licensing knowledge, strong attention to detail and the ability to move quickly between many publisher requirements in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAM experience with licensing responsibilities.
• Understanding of node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user and cloud/SaaS models.
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers.
• Experience with entitlements, renewals, utilization, compliance, audits.
• Advanced English and Spanish; able to collaborate with regional/global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across publishers.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting; identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering and external vendors.
• Handle high-volume requests and drive SAM process improvements.
