Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join its global SAM team. The role focuses on managing software licensing across a large, multi-publisher portfolio in a high-volume environment, collaborating with IT, Procurement, Finance, and Engineering teams to ensure compliance and cost optimization.

Fluent English and Spanish are required, with experience across regional and international regions.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience in Software Asset Management or IT Asset Management with SAM responsibilities.
Strong understanding of software licensing models including node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user and cloud/SaaS licenses.
Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers.
Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, audits.
Advanced English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle.
Interpret licensing terms and entitlements across multiple publishers and licensing models.
Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records including purchasing and licensing information.
Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and software optimization activities.
Support license compliance, audits and reporting, identifying opportunities to improve software utilization and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and external vendors to resolve licensing needs and escalations.
Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment while contributing to continuous improvement of SAM processes.
