Job summary

WSP seeks a Software Asset Management Specialist to manage software licenses across Latin America and beyond, interfacing with IT, Procurement, Finance and engineering teams to ensure compliance, optimization and accurate licensing decisions.

The role requires hands-on SAM experience in a multivendor environment, strong licensing knowledge, and fluency in English and Spanish to collaborate with regional and global stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Software Asset Management or IT Asset Management with licensing responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of licensing models including node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user and cloud/SaaS licenses.
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers and licensing conditions.
• Practical experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization and/or software audits.
• Ability to manage high volumes, prioritize time-sensitive requirements and adapt quickly between publishers.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when interpreting licensing information.
• Advanced English and Spanish, with the ability to collaborate with regional and global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across multiple publishers and licensing models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing and licensing information.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and software optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting, identifying opportunities to improve software utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and external vendors to resolve licensing needs and escalations.
• Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment while contributing to continuous improvement of SAM processes.
